Trick or Treat Halloween

Funny Friday: Halloween YouTube Essentials

The crisp winds, bare branches and festive pumpkins mean one thing: Halloween is almost here. While the season tends to bring out the fright, this Funny Friday will make light in finding hilarity among horror.

Andy and Amy’s Haunted House

Ellen sent her writer, Amy, and executive, Andy, to the Universal Studios The Walking Dead Haunted House. The house may have only haunted Andy for five minutes, but this video will haunt him for the rest of his life.

“Why sport? You’ll live longer”
(Beware, NBC pulled this ad in 2000 because it was too scary)

Well, if nothing else will motivate you to run, then bring on Michael Myers, chain saw and all. Hopefully, with a pair of Nikes, you can run as fast as Olympian, Suzy Hamilton. NBC may have thought the parody spot was too scary; however, if you’re a horror movie fan, it’s pretty funny (blondes never live. For the record, I have blonde hair).

Headless Horseman

Due to Are You Afraid of the Dark and Tim Burton’s Sleepy Hallow, the story of Ichabod Crane and the Headless Horseman completely freaks me out… even if Washington Irving’s short story, The Legend of Sleepy Hallow, isn’t scary at all. But this commercial is hilarious.

Is there anything scarier than not getting good candy on Halloween?

Tofu candy? Yeah, I might have regurgitated that as well.

Waking up on All Saints’ Day to find all your candy eaten is definitely scarier.

I guess it’s better to have loved and lost than to never have loved at all.

A year later, it still worked and was still scarier.

Don’t mess with children and their candy; however, if I was the parent of the kid who threw the bottle, I’m not sure I’d give him his candy back–even if he is still in diapers…especially because he’s still in diapers.
