Araceli Campos Chavez Joins SJG as Account Manager

Marketing veteran brings wealth of retail banking experience to agency

CHICAGO – The San Jose Group today announced the hiring of Araceli Campos Chavez as an account manager of Account Services. Campos Chavez brings more than 10 years of experience helping financial institutions grow their retail operations by attracting more Hispanic customers.

“Araceli’s experience in managing national Hispanic marketing and promotions campaigns has earned her a solid reputation within the industry,” said George L. San Jose, president and COO of the San Jose Group. “The addition of Araceli to our Account Services team further strengthens our expertise in the market place.”

Campos Chavez joins The San Jose Group from ABN Amro, Inc., where she was marketing director of Hispanic programs. While there, she successfully spearheaded efforts to increase new accounts for its retail banking and business-to-business operations among Chicago’s rapidly growing Hispanic business community.

Prior to that, she worked as a marketing manager and community liaison for Banco Popular. Through her leadership, Banco Popular saw significant increases in its brand recognition as more Hispanics opened savings, checking and mortgage accounts. She also was responsible for identifying new business opportunities, developing marketing materials and overseeing outreach to the media.
