Eduardo Gutierrez Joins The San Jose Group

CHICAGO (June 19, 2003) — The San Jose Group recently announced the hiring of Eduardo Gutierrez as media director.

George L. San Jose, president and COO of The San Jose Group said, “During a time when the Hispanic market is growing 14 times faster than the general market and Hispanic media buys are under intense scrutiny, we are pleased to have an experienced media strategist on our team. His experience supervising planning and buying for premiere accounts and his expertise at research complement our long-standing commitment to effective use of media as part of integrated strategic marketing programs.”

Eduardo Gutierrez came from Starcom where he served as Media Supervisor on accounts such as Delta Airlines, and also worked on Americatel, Miller Brewing Company and Kellogg’s among others. He won HispanicAd.com’s 2001 Media Planning Award for Best Plan Using Newspapers for Miller Genuine Draft and Best Plan Using Cable Television for Presidente Imported Beer. He has a Bachelor of Science degree in Advertising from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign where he was recognized as one of the American Advertising Federation’s Top 25 Most Promising Minority Students in Advertising.
