CHICAGO (June 24, 2005) — The San Jose Group was recently recognized by the Aurora Awards for its television creative execution, “Sinfonia,” developed and produced for the Hispanic Christian Churches Association (HCCA). The Aurora Awards committee recognizes work in film and video that achieves the ability to captivate audiences through creative execution. Programs are judged on creativity, message effectiveness and technical excellence. “Sinfonia” received the highest distinction awarded, the Platinum Best of Show, given to only ten percent of entrants.
HCCA’s “Sinfonia” shows a full symphony performing a riveting concerto. The commercial’s message conveys the importance of finding spiritual harmony with God in the various areas of one’s life just as the symphony creates harmony among its various sections of musical instruments.
“We feel privileged to be part of helping HCCA further its message and are honored to be acknowledged for our creative work and efforts on behalf of this wonderful organization,” said George L. San Jose, president and COO of The San Jose Group.
The Aurora Awards is an international competition designed to recognize excellence in the film and video industries. Programs and commercials are judged by a panel of industry peers, including writers, producers, directors and previous award winners. Entries come from across the U.S. and abroad, including countries such as Canada, Hong Kong, Denmark and Mexico.
