H&R Block and Chicago White Sox tap into agency’s total market expertise
CHICAGO – The San Jose Group (SJG) has been brought on for general market and multicultural work for two new clients: H&R Block and the Chicago White Sox. For both assignments, Hispanic market outreach that is culturally sensitive will comprise an important part of the work, but equally important will be reaching the general public.
SJG will be serving as H&R Block’s public relations agency during the 2010 Tax Season for general market and multicultural consumers in Chicago, San Antonio and the Rio Grande Valley. The focus of SJG’s outreach will be to build trust towards the company and educate taxpayers on different tips for the tax season. Public relations will serve as an important tool to discuss a complicated issue that can be especially overwhelming for Hispanic audiences, and help position H&R Block as the friendly, knowledgeable place for any tax season needs. Hispanic outreach will be especially important in San Antonio and the Rio Grande Valley, where this “segment” actually comprises the majority of the population (56% and more than 80%, respectively).
The Chicago White Sox will be tapping into The San Jose Group for multicultural advertising, and will also engage the PR division for total market outreach.
