Signs new partnership agreements with top marketing firms across Latin America
CHICAGO – The San Jose Network™ (SJN), the largest consortium of marketing communication firms to exclusively serve the Americas, has expanded its reach and expertise by signing eight new firms to its portfolio of companies.
“We have attracted some of the best agencies in the business, run by former top management in multinational advertising groups such as FCB and McCann Erickson,” said SJN Director Tatiana Vieira. “SJN has become an essential partner for companies that want to think globally and act locally by achieving short- or long-term results in Latin America.”
Navigating Latin-American markets takes expertise from in-country agencies. For example, the only way to attract the attention of Argentine consumers is to create extremely innovative ads since Argentina is a global creative powerhouse. In this market, SJN was able to attract Bureau Creativo, one of Argentina’s top agencies, to provide clients access to a talent pool that’s earned awards such as the 2005 Lapiz de Oro and three AMDIAs.
In Brazil, whose population represents a rich sales environment for multinational companies, SJN struck a deal with Giacometti & Associados Comunicação, an agency that excels at providing innovative campaigns, as well as analyzing and identifying market trends. With a strategic partnership with KPMG, Giacometti stands out for its strategic solutions.
Chile posses yet a different challenge to companies since the market follows a European style of advertising. SJN has tapped TADV of Chile to help clients communicate with their target and its ability to analyze marketing variables and create successful campaigns. The expertise of understanding consumer diversity and preferences is the essence of Percrea, which will represent SJN clients in Ecuador by delivering eye-catching campaigns and insightful marketing strategies.
SJN has enrolled three new companies in Costa Rica, El Salvador and Guatemala, which are considered majors hubs for product distribution and packaging. In Costa Rica, Grupo de Comunicacion La Argolla has been recognized with more than 30 awards at international and national levels. In El Salvador, Origen will provide SJN’s clients effective marketing solutions. In Guatemala, Equity International, considered a center of excellence for companies such as Bristol Myers Squibb and Quaker Oats, will blend high-quality solutions with a dynamic structure and innovative ideas.
“We want our clients to be able to coordinate their overall strategy for Latin America through one phone call made to our office,” Vieira said. “The efficient communication between our local companies and our headquarters ensures that we can help companies achieve their goals in Latin-America.”
