The San Jose Network™ Expands to Colombia and Chile
CHICAGO, February 17, 2000 — The San Jose Group announced the addition of two major independent advertising agencies in Colombia and Chile, as new members of The San Jose Network™.
Gomez-Chica, from Bogotá, Colombia, and Publicidad Tellery, from Santiago, Chile, bring more than $15 million in capitalized billings and over 65 seasoned professionals to the Network.
Gomez-Chica is the largest independent agency in Colombia and is attributed with having created the first-ever international advertising campaign for one of Colombia’s primary industries, “Café Colombiano,” or Colombian Coffee.
Fernando Tellery, founder and president of Tellery Publicidad, has been recognized in Chile as one of the pioneers of the Chilean advertising industry. “Chile and Colombia have consistently ranked among the most frequently targeted markets for the U.S. companies doing business in Latin America. The addition of these agencies represents an exciting reinforcement to the resources we provide to our clients,” said George L. San Jose, President and COO of The San Jose Group.
