Starting out in Publicis Brazil, Tatiana Vieira now serves as Executive Director for the San Jose Network (SJN), the foremost marketing communications group serving the U.S. multicultural market, Latin America, and the Caribbean. Headquartered in Chicago, SJN provides flexible and effective marketing solutions and strategic and tactical implementation under centralized management to accomplish unprecedented marketing results for clients. A multilingual MBA graduate, Tatiana has more than 10 years of significant strategic management and marketing expertise.
As Executive Director, Vieira oversees daily operations of SJN and manages its network of affiliates, consisting of 24 advertising agencies serving 35 countries. Vieira restructured SJN, changing the profile of its affiliate base, with 90 percent of the current firms brought on since the process started. Her determination and ambition has helped close contracts with several clients, the most recent being American Airlines’ International Frequent Flyer division and Harley-Davidson. She has also led the spin-off of the international division, helping to set SJN as a new legal entity. Vieira’s efforts have increased SJN’s capitalized billings by 258 percent to $567 million as well as expanded its reach to other markets and enlarged its human capital by 100 percent.
Prior to working at SJN, Vieira worked as Director of Planning for A1.Brasil, a leading Brazilian marketing agency, and in six months was promoted to Partner and Director of Accounts and Marketing. Vieira’s accomplishments at A1.Brasil include working on accounts like Bridgestone Firestone and Sherwin Williams as well as opening the American market for the agency. Before A.1Brasil, Vieira garnered experience in marketing and business development positions working for companies in Brazil and Massachusetts. Vieira attended Universidade Metodista de São Paulo in Brazil to earn her bachelor’s degree in advertising and continued her studies at Bentley College and Harvard University, both in Massachusetts.
