Willy Medina Joins The San Jose Group as Vice President of Public Relations

CHICAGO – The San Jose Group announced today the hiring of Willy Medina as vice president of public relations. Medina has more than 15 years of creative, results-oriented experience in media relations and crisis communication in corporate and agency settings.

“Willy brings a wealth of experience that really bolsters our PR team,” said George L. San Jose, president and COO of the San Jose Group. “Willy’s ability to manage projects and deliver excellent customer service will serve our agency and our clients well.”  

While at Sears, Roebuck and Co., Medina managed the company’s proactive outreach to Hispanic and African-American customers. Medina directed national campaigns in print and broadcast, scoring media hits that helped drive recognition and product sales for Sears with the company’s fastest-growing consumer groups. Prior to that, Medina helped manage Hill and Knowlton’s technology practice in Chicago.
