Finally, Chicago Basketball is Back!
Guess who’s back, back again, the Bulls are back—tell a friend! With the excitement of the Chicago Bulls kicking off their 2012-2013 season (without Derrick Rose) at the United Center against the Sacramento Kings last night, they pushed out an integrated marketing campaign entitled, Chicago Basketball. The campaign taps into the heart of how Chicago relates to the sport – with great passion for the love of a great game.
Four Chicago Basketball television spots entitled “Unity,” “Determination,” “Passion” and “Greatness” debuted during yesterday’s game. The commercials show the physical and emotional involvement in the game with various clips from student athletes of all ages along with historical shots of some of Chicago’s greatest basketball moments showcasing stars such as Jordan, Pippen, Rodman and Paxon along with highlights from the current team including Boozer, Deng, Noah and Rose. I watched the compilation of all four videos about five times and can’t seem to pick my favorite parts from each. I think they are all great!
A secondary theme that will be featured in the campaign is “Every Moment Matters,” which was inspired by the way Bulls basketball is played – dedication and team work are the keys to the game. The campaign will also consist of other collateral material such as posters, pocket schedules, calendars, tickets, press passes, banners and more!
Fans, keep your eye out for Chicago Basketball and GO BULLS!
