Funny Friday: Serious George

It’s Friday, and, of course, here at SJG that means it’s time to laugh.

This week for our Funny Friday post, we wanted to prove that no one is exempt from a good prank. When someone is in a position of leadership or renown in some way, it should be expected that they are susceptible to all kinds of foul play. It just comes with the territory.

We found a great selection of famous people being pranked: politicians (like Sarah Palin who was oblivious for an entire five-minute conversation with “French President Nicolas Sarkozy”); world leaders (like the Pope and Queen Elizabeth and even Fidel Castro, some who responded graciously as you might expect, others not so much); celebrities (like Jimmy Kimmel  who was held hostage as Matt Damon took over his show, and Tom Cruise whose reaction to a prank was not one of his better moments). Besides those we found, here is a compilation of what Business Insider considers to be “The Best Celebrity Pranks of All Time.”

Around here, we don’t come across many celebrities. But our President, George San Jose, does carry himself in such a way that he has been compared to the Dos Equis guy. He is a pioneer in the industry and well- he is our boss. That makes him subject to some foul play, doesn’t it?

For today though – we are just going to tease you with this trailer. You’ll have to come back next week to find out what actually happened to the Big Man on our campus.
