The San Jose Group Selects Adrian Zavala As The Agency’s New Senior Art Director

CHICAGO (September 23, 2005) — The San Jose Group has announced the hiring of Adrian Zavala as
Senior Art Director to enhance the agency’s creative team capabilities. Adrian brings to The San Jose
Group over 15 years of professional experience developing award-winning creative plans and elements for multinational advertising firms throughout Latin America. Adrian will be responsible for ensuring the highest-quality creative work and brand consistency for the agency’s clients.

Adrian’s creative career in Mexico included serving as Art Director for J. Walter Thompson where he oversaw creative campaigns for clients such as Listerine Mouth Wash, Pocket Packs, and a variety of Kimberly Clark products. Adrian also designed state-of-the art creative plans for KSM and Z Publicidad in Mexico working on clients such as Bacardi, Derby, Eurovan, Allied Domeq and Brandy Azteca de Oro.

Adrian nurtures his passion for advertising with his artistic talents. He is a consummate painter with over 18 years of experience which includes several main public exhibits in Mexican museums and independent galleries. He started his artistic activities under the tutelage of renowned master painter Carlos Navarro. Adrian holds a BS in Digital & Art Design from the University of New Mexico.
